Edison Chen and girls and stuff

so this is post is a result of two cases of boredom... on one of my many boredom-driven intarnets browsings i found out for the first time that edison chen (you may remember him from such films as infernal affairs i,ii,iii, and initial d the movie), a prominent hongkie/honkie (however u wanna spell it) actor, was involved in some outright skandalouz scandal early this year! and also bored enough to write this bolg...

so, edison had fucked some smokin asian actresses, taken some pretty raunchy photos and stored them in his computer. one fine day, edison took this very computer to his friendly local asian computer repair guy. lol, so the computer guy discovered the files (cleverly hidden in a folder named 'top secret movie scriptz, do not open!'), and decided it would be 'epic' if he spread the few hundred pix all over tha internets... just 'for the lulz'! but he shoulda known better, the chinese gov. takes thing very seriously, doin things 'for the lulz' is one of millions of other offenses punishable by deths (including, failing to say mao, not using the suffix 'goddamn' before 'mongorians', and being female)

long story short - edison got into heaps of trouble. some of the girls include:
gillian chung - actress/singer
bobo chan - model/singer
cecilia cheung - singer/singer
and a few others but those r the juicy ones, especially cecilia who is apparently married...

which brings me to my second point - guys who take photos of girls they sleep with. i mean, whats up with that?! is you that insecure that u feel the need to keep a log of all your sexual conquests? i mean, perhaps its just me, but it seems kinda gay. and especially in more extreme cases- actual filming of yourself! i would just find it very awkward watching myself...

Slow Jams and stuff

woah i hasnt writened in a whiles...

anyway the special on today's menu is all about those smoooth, sensual sounds known as 'slow jamz'.
i have a lot of time, too much free time... which is usually wasted mindlessly and aimlessly wondering the internet, sleeping, eating, over sleeping, over eating, watching tv, etc.

when im studying, well, when im pretending to be studying, i like to listen to music. i try to resist the temptation of listen to the same favourites over and over again, by expanding my musical...something, vocabulary?

anyway, slow jams...sometimes you needa just take a step back, reduce the pace of the song, less fancy effects and stuff, and rly focus on the beat and vocals... create something that has real meaning and sound, something with real soul, ya dig?

Winter and stuff

I hate winter... TT

there are many reasons for this, which i will explore in this post!

firstly, some personal reasons.
i dont have the greatest skin in the world, and every winter i get a mild case of dermatitis. to other ppl this usually isnt visible, but thats because i have to apply some fancy oatmeal cream everyday, liek every single day...and that just pisses me off

also i feel the cold much more than other ppl... example:
friend: hey aaron it sure is a bit nippy today eh?
me: OMG FUUUUUUCK! fuckin freezin! HELP><

my extremities (in particular my hands) are especially prone to frost damage. sometimes they are so cold i cant write, cant feel them, cant move and/or they hurt. one way of solving this might be wearing gloves, but u see, the point of having hands, and opposable thumbs, is so u can DO STUFF!

also, i get an annoyingly drippy nose during winter. my lips also dry up and will split/crack if i dont constantly apply lip bum.

stepping out of a room or place where there is a change in temperature significant enough to create ur glasses to fog up and not being able to see for liek a minute

cold weather also usually means u have to wear more clothes than u usually would. this kinda sucks if u have a weardrobe that lacks extensivity. i dont have many clothes, u will often see me wearing my big black sloppy sweat top, or my big navy sloppy sweat top, or my black hoody, or... ya thats pretty much it
oh and my pants! my single pair of gray khahkhis (i think theres some Hs in there than arent suppposed to be :p)
so ye winter is hard for ppl with few clothes (or simply few winter clothes) as in my case

what i really need is one of those rly pro +20 frost resist jumpers, liek the kinda yitzi has

when its cold, u really, really dont feel liek getting up outta bed. u just wanna stay under your 4 or 5 blankets and go back to sleep. preferably till the season is over (much liek those clever bears do)...

if its cold outside you also really dont feel liek doin any form of sport or exercise. enter the car analogy, just liek when how if its cold the engine wont start, so too your frozen mussels wont extrand and compact...

not to mention that girls' summer fashion is much more enjoyable to look at than winter stuff. miniskirts, flimsy tops, bikinis etc.

on that note, coldness makes my tiny yellow penis even smaller that it already is (jks). but seriously coldness does have a shrinking effect on junk. eg "what?! its cold...!"

another thing that bugs me is that if this country was just a little bit colder there would be snow...which might make the season even slightly more bearable.

also i kinda have this fear that when im walking to my class some frost mage will jump from behind a corner and frostbolt me, slowing my speed, and as im trying to run to him to gouge or something, he runs away, does his fancy mage micro thing where he jumps, spins around, casts a spell at me in mid air and lands back facing the way he was running, continuing to do this till im dead or he runs out of mana. (by the way all of this nonsense causing me to be late to my lecture)
i call it magemicrojumpspincastlandphobia!

anyway those are just a couple reasons why i hate winter (why i LOVE summer is another blog, look out for it in a few months ^^)

Pretendcious names and stuff

So liek some actor called Nicole Kidman, had liek a kid or something...
whats the big deal? some chick shits a human baby out of her vagina, it happens a multitude of times every single day. but apparently since the parent is a celebrity this event is somehow unique and news worthy.

dont get me wrong, everyday life would be dull as hell without actors and musicians and such. its just that i fail to see how these ppl's professions, for which they are so over OVER OOOOOOOVERLY paid, are so integral to the survival and advancement of the human civilization...
imo teachers, engineers, scientists, soldiers etc deserve for more praise and status than they, but thats kinda straying from the subject of this post

anyway, the kid's name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban... which i find just hilarious

partly because 'sunday' itself is a day of the week, and not a person's name, but more-so cuz it sounds nearly identical to 'sunday roast' (a delicious meal of roasted meat eating on the day of the sun)

imo i think celebrities feel the need to give their children extraordinary and unimaginabable names as opposed to sensible, common names because they believe they are special and/or superior to regular ppl, and thus simply cannot give their children a normal name cuz they is 'better than that'

there are hundreds of pretentious celebrity names, however im not gonna mention any because that would be giving them even more mention and attention than they already get.

note: there is a double standard, as in the case of michael jackson, who can do whatever the fuck he wants, dress however the fuck he wants, name his kids whatever the fuck he wants, and molest any child he fucking wants (not saying that he did, because reality is he didnt! but even if he wanted to that would be cool, actually it prob wouldnt, but w/e) cuz he is the motherfucking king bitches, yall other celebs betta recanize

in conclusion, celebrities need to put 50 points in modesty skill, and another 100 in humility. and i strongly recommend goin to a trainer to learn the STFU ability.

Mya and stuff

OMFG!!!! YOU ARE NOT FUCKIN SERIOUS...

The new Mya album Liberation has been pushed back, yet again, for like the fifth time!!!
After being released as a digigital downroad in Japan in late October 07, its American (and hence official global) release and has been rescheduled for September 16th, 2008.

It was, until recently, scheduled to hit the stores sometime this week or next.

The reason I am so pissed is not the most obvious one. I've heard nearly all the songs on the album, and fyi most really aren't that great. I just don't like being lied to...saying one thing, and then told the contrary, and having to wait once more, after it being soo close to actualizationess.

I'm also quite pissed because I believe this charade is rather unprofessional and gives my girl Mya a rather negative impression. I mean, if you set a date for your fans, you stick to it.

Also, I am a bit disappointed by her apparent display of lack of organization. The album contains only about half of all the new songs she made, and imo the majority of her best songs are the 'leftover tracks' (luckily we live in an age of illegal music downloading).

Anyway, I guess shes just getting a bit weary, as her career slows to an eventual absolute halt...

Maybe ill have either:
a) downloaded and burnt the entire album by the time it comes out, or
b) gone to Japan and gotten it, because its the uni holidays and its been pushed back even further...

tight jeans, fashion and stuff

the fucked up and just downright stupid things uni students do, and continue to do, cease to amaze me...
this post will focus on the some of the shit ppl wear. it should be noted that the time and place where i most usually...see ppl wearing clothes... is at uni (lol that sentence wasnt thought out well enough but what im tryin to say is that these fashion trends are not restricted to just uni)

firstly, tight jeans. tight jeans on guys. the mere mention of the idea (not to mention the resulting imagining of it) should be enough to make any self-repecting man shudder, if not puke their guts out. i doubt its just me, im truly revolted by how this particular piece of apparel appears on guys.
tight jeans for girls are one of the most fundamental of G-d gifts to men, any dood who attends uni will have experienced an embarrassing, walking-into-a-pole-cuz-was-distracted...lets just say...by a fine piece of ass (that wasnt very subtle but ye).
but for guys, not only does it look, how can i put this gently...gay, but i can only imagine it is testicle-stranglingly, manhood-strippingly uncomfortable. iunno, but maybe the females are incredibly turned on by a guy who has thinner thighs and calves than her, that must surely make her feel more secure. actually maybe it kinda works liek how guys liek to see girls in one of their t-shirts...

secondly, not one particular garment, but rather a selection. more and more, u find guys who look liek they do their shopping (it wouldnt be right to say 'where their girlfriend does', cuz they are prob 'not liek that' lol) but you get my drift. stuff includes, low cut cleavage tops, ballet flats, etc. i guess its reflective of a increasingly sexually confused, gender-ambivalent age...

thirdly, che shirts. their are two kinds of ppl who wear this. 1. ignorant kids who dont know who che was and just thinks it looks cool anyway, and 2. ignorant kids who know who che was, usually hippies or communists, and think its cool that he murdered thousands, and are displaying their 'anti-capitalist' 'values' by donning an incredibly capitalised shirt...dumbasses.

lastly, keffiyahs (those arab scarves). again liek the aforementioned ppl, these culprits can be grouped in two. those who know and those who dont know, but either way they are still ignorant dumbasses ^^ usually i give wearers a passing piece of mind with insults liek 'hey nice scarf, terrorist' or 'nice scarf...yasser arafat had one just liek it!' or 'jihad!!... nice scarf btw' (in retrospect these remarks are incredibly offensive, and prob illegal ~_~ but meh) anyway by the time those stoners realise what ive sed, ive walked all the way to the bus stop, caught the bus home, and am at my computer halfway thu mechanar... thus is the level of slowness and ignoranceness of the left at uni.

anway, as u prob noticed, and if u havent u are probably have a left-wing inclined brain, i am at times highly opinionised (lol making up words is fun).

'Sleeplessness' - a response and stuff

before i start, im sure a number of u r wonderin... 'wtf is a bolg?'
well, its hard to explain, but all i can say is... imagine a hairless species of those creatures u find chillin' around gnarlpine and timbermaw...

anyway after having readed (http://yitzituvel.blogspot.com/2008/04/sleeplessness.html), i find myself with stuff of my own to say about sed topic (not so much the more... deep n stuff part at the end about impatience, although i do find it very true, and am impressed by ur, cleverness n stuff)

i too have trouble falling asleep at night, the queue is about an hr or so, but its not uncommon for some nights to go longer. anyway, instead of just lying there, i use this time to do some stuff i enjoy, liek read, listen to music, or indulge in some sweet sweet poetry (and by that i mean pac). sometimes, if im simply too lazy (u kno, liek to get my cd playa...) i will think.

as yitzi sed, thinking is double-edged. all the sugary good stuff about pre-nodding-off-thinking i agree with. however, in my case the more...unfriendly side of thinking usually shows itself after ive woken from a rather depressing dream. these occasional dreams are not infact distressing at the time... they are quite pleasant. recollections of treasured times past, or beautiful future events that could have been...my alarm wakes me, and i wish i could go back to such heavenly fantasies.
but i must return to reality...and it hurts...
the harsh truth that these are, and will be nothing more than, dreams usually clouds a significant chunk of my day with sadness. through breakfast, on the bus, during the lecture...i slip in and out of depressing thoughts ('why G-d, WHY?!' etc)
if u dont have a clue what im talkin about...then i envy you

and this sorta ties in with what yitzi sed about impatience...im not the kind to let these depressing truths bug me (for too long that is)... cuz i know thingsll be alright.... eventually (still waiting after how many yrs...)

so ye, that was part me being bored, and part me wanting to vent, and part of me wanting to 're:' to yitzi, but its all good, its not that your time is that valuable anyway if u started reading this, and its not liek ive wasted precious moments that u can never get back
